We love looking at our quilt every day! Janice pulled together the memories of the life my husband and I shared while living on a boat. Each time I look at the quilt, I discover details I hadn't noticed before, like the stitching that follows the rope border around a print, stitching in swirls and curves to amplify scenes of sea and sky, or designs specially stitched to set off one of the embedded photos. Fortunately, Janice had thought ahead and included a small packet of tissues, carefully tucked in the pocket stitched into the quilt, as my husband and I both had tears in our eyes as I presented it to him.
